Geek out
Been working away on some big projects lately, hard work, but took a break last week to pop up to Atlanta to goto a Fan Faire for Everquest. I had an absolute blast I have to admit. Yes, place was full of geeks, but not too many nerds if you know what I mean. Scary the stuff that went on, basically a bank holiday weekends worth of booze non-stop. Got taken off-site by some guildees/friends of guildees (that's wierd in of itself that people you've chatted to for ages, on first meeting without knowing what they looked like, you carry on topics being discussed online earlier) to an 80's club that was like Gullivers but bigger (well, it IS America I guess). 2 chicks next to me at the bar saying 'I love the whole English music scene, anything out of England is cool' 'well hallo darlin', I'm not from round here, got any English in you?' (yeah, I know, the punchline was obvious). 'well, you'd have a chance if your accent wasn't so obviously fake' '....' blast. Maybe I need to pop home soon and recharge the accent.
Ended up the next night at a live rock act Kareoke that was GREAT! Signed up early, got called up first, belted my heart out to Head Like A Hole and got the whole club rocking. Shame it's all over, looking forward to next year at Vegas.

How goes it back in Blighty?

Looking pretty slim there Robo' That suggests one of three scenarios:
A) you've lost some weight. A remarkable achievement in America, what with all that fast food around
B) Compared to all the locals a large Englishman looks hella skinny still!
C) 'Potatoshop'
I'm surprised you've forgotten what conversations with lRP'ers and the like would be like so readily, when did two geeks not meet up and discuss fantasy life as if it were utterly real?
Anyhow, good to hear from you, let's 'ave more.
D) I didn't post the ones of me looking lardish!
E) I'm not actually singing, I'm eating a Burger King Double Whopper with extra cheese live on stage!
(actually, no joking, there's Triple whoppers here now. They gave me such a funny look a few years ago in Blighty when I asked for a triple whopper, I had to get all 'have it your way' it says on the poster. Triple whopper sounds good to me.
Hallo I absolutely adore your site. You have beautiful graphics I have ever seen.
