is pencilled in for my stag do weekend.
I have the options of a distillery tour of scotland (expensive, coach hire etc.),
a day paintballing then overnight in a cottage somewhere (fair to middling)
a beer and a curry in town. (very very cheap :)

Clay pigeon shooting was also on the cards but that would probably be round here.
Any more ideas?

Clerks Animated TV series

This caught us as a total surprise, when we were surfing the digibox last night.

If you are a Kevin Smith fan (and if not, for shame, foooor shaaaame), and get ITV4 on your TV bundle, make a date for 10.30 on Wednesday nights. I laughed like a drain last night at it; and if my info serves me right it was only the second episode.

Sadly only 6 were ever made. Nor has it ever been officially released on DVD/video in Britain. Well worth the watching; though I do feel slihgtly dirty having watched ITV4 for a whole 30 minutes .

Repay your carbon debt

As you seem to be aware, I fly a lot these days. Last year I would've flown 8 medium haul flights, had it not been for a funeral, and I'm pretty sure then the plane still went without me and Sue, so there was no less environmental impact for me cancelling at the last minute.

I suspected this wasn't terribly good for the environment; and indeed not: one short haul flight generates the equivalent carbon of running a 1.4 litre car for three months.

These guys let you assuage your guilt by planting trees to replenish the environment. It's a crazy idea, but it just might work; at £10 a flight or so I reckon I can afford to save the planet...
